Mandeep Barn
Co-Founder, Occupational Therapist, MSc. OT
Mandeep has experience working in the public sector (ie. hospitals) but found his niche in private practice, treating clients in the community who have been in motor vehicle accidents and workplace accidents. Mandeep's clients appreciate his calm and understanding demeanor, his ability to advocate for them, and his overall diligence as an OT.

Pablo Chang
Co-Founder, Occupational Therapist, MSc. OT
Pablo is an experienced therapist in the private sector, with an interest in physical dysfunction and brain injury. Clients who work with Pablo enjoy his personable approach to therapy, accountability partnership, and conversational sessions that don't always feel like therapy.

Joel Bland
Occupational Therapist, MSc. OT
Joel joined the Polaris Rehab team in 2024, providing his keen eye for functional assessments, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Job Demands Analyses (JDAs). He is trained in the Matheson Protocol for functional assessments, and conducts his client time in a personable and professional manner. Joel has worked extensively with individuals suffering from mood disorders, PTSD, post-concussion syndrome, and those with various orthopedic injuries and conditions. He enjoys making meaningful connections with his clients, and takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation. Along with his occupational therapy practice, Joel holds a position as a Kinesiology Instructor at Langara College, and previously held a position as a Research Therapist with the University of British Columbia.

Andrew Lin
Registered Kinesiologist (R. Kin)
Andrew is the newest addition to the Polaris Rehab team, and offers clients kinesiology and rehab assistant services. Andrew is a University of British Columbia graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He believes exercise enhances physical function and well-being, and is able to apply these principles through his work as a kinesiologist. His approach begins by understanding his client’s condition, needs, and goals. He designs personalized programs incorporating functional movements, ensuring exercises promote healthy, practical movement patterns for everyday life.
Andrew has done competitive dragon boating for several years, was part of Canada’s National Dragon Boat Team, and is now a dragonboat coach for paddlers with multiple sclerosis. In addition, Andrew is a powerlifter who applies the principles of strength training to enhance the functional fitness of his clients. His keen eye and experience will be beneficial for clients of all ability levels.
